Chisie G. Klinglesmith is an Acupuncture Physician licensed by the State of Florida and Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida where she earned her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. Also, while attending the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences.
In addition, she received her Certification from the Mebo TCM Training Center in Beijing, China for Acupuncture and Herbology. She interned in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the Wangjing Hospital, Beijing China which treats 2,000 outpatients per day and house an additional 1,000 patients for longer term treatment.
Chisie has continued to deepen her knowledge base by becoming Certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy. This includes injection of sterile homeopathic and nutritional supplements into acupuncture points by means of a hypodermic needle for pain management as well as to promote, maintain, restore health and prevent disease. She utilizes various modalities of Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, herbology, cupping, electric stimulation, gua sha and tuina. Lastly, Chisie is a Certified Medical Coder.
Traveling back and forth to the Philippines to care for her mother and watching her slowly succumb to the ravages of cancer made a deep impression on Chisie. She was determined to better understand the mind, body connection to illness and the root causes of disease. She became passionate about her pursuit of knowledge in the field of medicine and how to combine various philosophies. Her unique education integrates a blend of Eastern and Western medicine.
Using the ancient art of Acupuncture, herbal and nutritional medicine with lifestyle changes, she has helped hundreds of individuals reverse chronic health issues. Chisie believes in and teaches the importance of self-care, along with techniques on how to take control of their health at any stages of life. She is gentle and compassionate with a focus on the patient’s overall wellbeing.
